HSGQ-TC02 is a box-type 2-port XGS-PON/GPON Combo OLT designed for FTTH, FTTR, commercial buildings, smart industrial parks, and WiFi access networks. It provides two XGS-PON/XG-PON/GPON ports, four GE RJ45 uplink ports, and two 10G SFP+ slots.
Each PON port supports a maximum 1:128 split ratio, with up to 256 users supported across the two PON ports. The device supports CLI, Web, SNMP/NMS, and cloud management, helping operators configure, monitor, and maintain the OLT through suitable local or centralized methods.
The TC02 is designed for projects that need two independent optical access branches. It can connect compatible ONUs or ONTs, which then provide Ethernet access for WiFi routers, access points, computers, cameras, and other customer-premises devices.
The TC02 supports XGS-PON, XG-PON, and GPON access according to the installed PON modules and network configuration. This allows operators to introduce 10G PON capacity while continuing to plan for existing GPON access requirements.
The product configuration supports 20-pin PON SFP+ slots, IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack operation, cloud management, VRRP redundancy, ERPS, and STP/RSTP/MSTP functions.
The combination of two PON ports and multiple uplink interfaces makes the TC02 suitable for separate buildings, different floors, independent service zones, or projects that require additional subscriber capacity without moving immediately to a high-density OLT chassis.

The two PON ports allow the TC02 to serve two optical distribution branches from one device. For example, one port can serve one building or floor while the second port serves another access area.
Compared with a single-port model, the TC02 provides more flexibility for network segmentation and future subscriber expansion.

A 1-port XGS-PON/GPON Combo OLT may be suitable for one building, one distribution area, or a smaller subscriber base. The TC02 is better suited to projects that need two PON branches or a larger total ONU capacity.
The maximum listed capacity does not mean that every deployment should use the full split ratio. The final split level should be selected according to optical budget, fiber distance, ONU quantity, bandwidth demand, and service policy.
The TC02 uses a compact 13-inch chassis with a 1U standard height. It supports desktop placement, hallway installation, and small cabinet mounting in low-voltage electrical shafts.
This form factor is useful for projects where a full-size 19-inch rack is inconvenient or unnecessary. The compact chassis can be installed closer to the optical distribution area, helping simplify fiber routing and equipment-room planning.
The device measures approximately 285 × 192 × 44 mm according to the current product information. Sufficient space should be reserved for ventilation, power access, fiber bend radius, and future maintenance.
The TC02 provides two 10G SFP+ slots and four GE RJ45 uplink ports. The 10G optical interfaces can connect the OLT to aggregation switches, core routers, or other optical transport equipment.
The dual 10G SFP+ design is useful when two PON branches share traffic from residential users, FTTR terminals, enterprise WiFi, video services, or commercial access networks. Electrical GE uplinks provide an additional option for compact or short-distance connections.
For high-bandwidth applications such as 4K/8K video, VR, live streaming, cloud services, and enterprise data access, the upstream capacity should be planned together with PON bandwidth, splitter ratio, ONU quantity, and traffic policies.
The HSGQ XGS-PON product range can also be reviewed when comparing different PON port counts and network deployment requirements.
The Type-C console port provides a direct local interface for device configuration and maintenance. Engineers can use one cable for initial setup, troubleshooting, and local access before the OLT is connected to the management network.
This interface is useful during installation because it provides an alternative maintenance path when cloud or upstream network access is not yet available.
After commissioning, the TC02 can be managed through CLI, Web, SNMP/NMS, or cloud management according to the customer’s network operation requirements.
The TC02 supports IPv4/IPv6 dual-stack operation and a range of Layer 3 functions. The supported protocol set includes DHCP, static routing, RIP, OSPF, VRRP redundancy, PIM, and IGMP snooping.
DHCP can simplify IP address assignment for connected services, while static routing provides fixed forwarding paths for smaller or more controlled network segments.
OSPF and RIP support allow the OLT to work with different routing environments. OSPF is suitable for structured networks with multiple routing areas, while RIP may be used in simpler access network designs.
IPv4/IPv6 support allows the device to participate in mixed-protocol networks and helps operators prepare new services while maintaining existing IPv4 equipment.
VRRP can be used in supported redundant gateway designs. PIM and IGMP snooping are suitable for managing multicast services such as IPTV, video distribution, and surveillance traffic.
The TC02 supports automatic loop detection for connected Ethernet networks. When a loop is detected, the affected port can be blocked to reduce the risk of broadcast storms spreading through the network.
After the loop condition is removed, the port can automatically return to normal communication according to the configured recovery mechanism.
This function is useful in offices, commercial buildings, and distributed access networks where multiple switches, WiFi routers, and customer devices may be installed by different teams. Loop detection should still be used together with accurate cabling records and correct switch configuration.
The TC02 includes a built-in MQTT function module for connection to a cloud management platform. Cloud management can provide centralized access to device status, alarms, projects, configurations, and remote maintenance functions.
This is useful when OLTs are installed in multiple buildings, floors, industrial parks, or remote access rooms. Network staff can manage suitable routine tasks from a central platform instead of visiting every installation site.
The device also supports local CLI, Web, and SNMP/NMS management, giving system integrators more flexibility when customers already use an existing network management system.
The two PON ports can serve two optical distribution branches from one compact OLT. This makes the TC02 suitable for residential communities, apartment buildings, and small broadband access projects.
FTTR deployments often connect multiple rooms or access areas through optical terminals and WiFi equipment. The TC02 provides two PON branches for projects that require more structured optical access capacity.
One PON port can serve one floor, tenant area, or building section, while the second port serves another zone. VLAN, QoS, multicast, and routing functions can help separate different services and user groups.
Industrial parks may include offices, production areas, surveillance systems, and WiFi access points. The TC02 can provide a compact optical access layer for multiple network branches.
The TC02 is installed upstream of compatible ONUs or ONTs. The ONU or ONT then provides Ethernet connectivity to WiFi routers or access points. The OLT manages the optical access network but does not replace the downstream WiFi router.
