1. Introduction to Gigabit SFP Adaptive Smart Electrical Interface Module

The gigabit SFP adaptive electrical interface module (ES-TX-RJ) adopts the SFP packaging type, is equipped with SFP interfaces that support SGMII/1000BAS-X/100BASE-FX adaptation and full/half duplex mode adaptation, and the RJ45 interface with self matching rate (10M/100M/1000M). The media required for data transmission is Category 5 unshielded twisted pair, and the transmission distance is 100M. Compared with optical fiber transmission, the transmission distance of twisted pair is short, and it is only suitable for small range networking.

The gigabit SFP adaptive electrical interface module is used in the supercomputing center, big data center, monitoring room and other backbone optical fiber switching networks.

4. User Guide for Gigabit SFP Adaptive Smart Electrical Interface Module

(1) Before connecting the switch, wear anti-static fingertips to prevent static damage;

(2) Take out the SFP electrical port module, with the pull ring and label facing up and the golden finger facing down;

(3) Push the SFP electrical port module along the SFP port of the switch until it is tightly connected with the switch slot;

(4) Plug the network cable (Cat 5e) into the RJ45 interface of the SFP electrical interface module;

(5) Observe whether the SFP electrical port module indicator is normal. If the indicator flashes, the optical module is connected.
