In the process of chatting with customers, some shops or companies do not pay attention to this issue, causing customers to turn their heads to find other suppliers. On this issue, as long as there are guest complaints, we will do our best to solve it. Only by solving the customer can the customer return the bill of return.

So, which of the fiber modules will encounter in the process of work? We come in detail:

1. The module can glow, but the measured light power is far lower than the nominal value

The possible reason is as follows:

a. Fiber insertion is not in place, re -insert and plug out the fiber and measure.

b. Optical fiber end surface damage or pollution damage, replace the fiber re -measurement.

c. Light module end surface damage or pollution damage, use the end facial detector to view the module light port conditions, such as pollution damage, clean and confirm that the end surface is not damaged and re -measured.

d. Use optical fiber type errors. For example, multi -mode modules use single -mode optical fiber to measure optical power.

e. The wavelength of optical power is inconsistent with the working wavelength of the module.

2. The module does not shine on the customer switch

The possible reason is as follows:

a. The module is not compatible with the switch, causing the switch to prohibit module work.

b. Poor module exposure, and gold finger dirt loss caused the module to be unbelievable.

c. TOSA is bad or damaged.

3. Module cannot be identified or DDM information is abnormal

The possible reason is as follows:

a. The module is not compatible with the switch, causing the switch to not read DDM content.

b. IIC communication is abnormal and the rate does not match.

c. Pulling resistance on IIC caused data to be transmitted correctly.

d. IIC program error, cannot respond to the communication of the customer switch. Such as dual/four/multi -line read and write.

e. Module mcu damage or the underlying files are abnormally removed.
