What is 6G? 6G is the abbreviation of the sixth generation mobile communication system (6th generation mobile network or 6th generation wireless systems), which is the sixth generation mobile communication technology. It is an extension after the 5G system. Efficiency improvement. Compared with 5G, the transmission capacity of 6G is expected to increase by 100 times, the theoretical download speed can reach 1TB per second, and the network delay is also expected to be reduced from milliseconds to microseconds.

Optical modules are mainly used in the data communication market and the telecommunication market. In recent years, with the development of industries such as cloud computing, 5G commercial use, and the Internet of Things, the global data volume and data traffic have experienced explosive growth, which has driven the strong demand for data communication optical modules. At the same time, the centralized construction of 5G base stations will further drive the demand for telecom optical modules.
