16G FC CWDM SFP+series optical modules are mainly used in FC (Fibre Channel) networks. Fibre Channel technology is a network storage switching technology that can provide long distance and high bandwidth, and can realize the transmission of large data files between storage, server and client nodes. In this article, we will focus on the next 16G FC CWDM SFP+series optical modules.
The 16G FC CWDM SFP+series optical modules adopt hot pluggable SFP+packaging, dual fiber LC interfaces, and support transmission distances of 10km and 40km. Among them, the optional wavelength range of 16GFC CWDM SFP 10km is 1270nm-1610nm (20nm interval), and the optional wavelength range of 16GFC CWDM SFP 40km is 1470nm-1610nm (20nm interval).
16G FC CWDM SFP+10km is equipped with DML laser and PIN photodetector. The maximum transmission rate is up to 14.025G, and the maximum power consumption is less than 1.2W. The maximum transmission distance through a single mode OS2 jumper is up to 10km. The operating temperature supports commercial (0 ℃ - 70 ℃) and industrial (- 40 ℃ - 85 ℃) levels, and is compatible with 16G/4G/8G fiber channels.
The 16G FC CWDM SFP+40km is equipped with an EML laser and APD photodetector. The maximum transmission rate is up to 14.025G, the maximum power consumption is less than 1.8W, and the maximum transmission distance through a single mode OS2 jumper is up to 40km. The operating temperature supports commercial (0 ℃ - 70 ℃) and industrial (- 40 ℃ - 85 ℃), and is compatible with 16G/4G/8G fiber channels.
