The channel interval of the passive wave division reuse technology (CWDM) is 20nm, the working wavelength is 1270-1610Nm, and the CWDM light module of 40km and above is the rear wave (1470-1610Nm). The module uses a full band (1270-1610Nm).

The CWDM optical module is usually used in the CWDM system, which is lower than the cost of DWDM light module and is widely used. In a CWDM system, the CWDM light module is inserted in the switch, and the CWDM light module with the CWDM decomposer or OADM light is inserted into the connection with the jumper.
