The 40G QSFP+Optical module conforms to various standards such as SCSI, 40G Ethernet, 20G/40G Infiniband, and has four data transmission channels, and the transmission rate of each channel is about 10Gbps. By simultaneously transmitting four channels, a transmission rate of 40Gbps can be achieved. Common SFP+Optical module can be divided into three types: QSFP-40G-SR4, QSFP-400G-LR4, and 40G LR4 PSM.

QSFP-40G-SR4 optical module: usually used in conjunction with MPO/MTP connectors. Typically, multimode fiber optic links are used to achieve 40G transmission.
